I have no idea why he's opposed to birth control or, quite frankly, that he is at all. You see I didn't elect him for his morality or his position on social issues... those have little to do with how I live my life. You wanna make a big deal about his religion, but it appears you're actually trying to enforce your beliefs on others more than he is on me. I've never been accosted by anyone representing his administration about wearing a condom, and I don't expect I would be. Has he encroached into your bedroom? I have nothing against education... in fact, I think we should mandate it more effectively. There's an absolute correlation between the skills learned from schools and the ability to contribute to society (which, in turn, contributes to one's own self-sufficiency). I think we should abolish public school entirely, as they have become a cesspool of inadequacy. Instead, we should earmark all that money to underwrite private enterprise which could compete for our tax dollars based on demonstrated performance and the record of accomplishment. I also believe in mandatory military service. The military has a demonstrated record of achievment in helping youths become successful members of society, even after life or personal choice has pointed them down the wrong path. It's no coincidence that a large percentage of successful businessmen or even politicians served in the armed forces. They establish a work ethic that persists no matter what avenue one chooses in life. --- þ Synchronet þ BBS Doors (www.bbsdoors.com) .
