It has been a reoccouring theme in your messages (about taxes) that you regret it's being spent in one way or another. Then you often times slip in some derrogatory remark for follow on messages. It's ALL opinions here (and most of the links provided). I think a good prupose of government is to help people that can't help themselves. The Feds are not supposed to show favoritism on racial lines or gender or background, religious prefferences or life styles. Where as private funding/aide can (and does) often restrict such aide and can and often times does with draw such aide. Federal assistance is supposed to be fair and balanced. And I suspect that is what really chaps people butts about it. It supposed to be ... "government of the people, by the people, for the people" At least Lincoln thought so. ....
