Yes, living people can make decisions. The instant they're dead however, they can't. If you said such a thing, it would be up to your heirs to weight your corpse or not, as they choose. However, you're constantly asking what gives me the right to tell people what they can do with their assets. Since dead people are actually incapable of doing anything with their assets, there's no such conflict. I'm not telling the heirs what they can do with their assets.
