I'm replying to a message dated Aug 23rd about gas > prices bing 1.70. Now only ten odd days later it's a whole dollar more. It got to a high of $3.09 here for regular her ($3.59 for premium). Almost all the stations were out of regular and there were long lines. Now (09/11 (remember that?) I've seen some stations selling regular for $2.99, still fairly expensive.
