We r I'm not suggesting taxes shouldn't be paid out to help those who need it. On the contrary, I have no problem with it. Perhaps it's how I percieved the above wording. I don't consider myself wealthy, just getting by but it doesn't bother me that a portion of my tax dollars go to help those less fortunate than me. I don't know. The welthy to the poor comment just stuck out to me. I don't make a lot as opposed to probably the National average and I could make good use of what I pay in taxes but I don't sit and stare at my pay stub and grit my teeth over what they cut. I just accept it. If it's a subject that ran aground recently then I'll get off it.
