I just got a copy of the original endding, the unhappy one.
the one where audrey II wins, it was released years ago and
then they pulled them all off the market because only the
happy endding was authorized to be released. but I got this
from a person who worked  on the movie. it's a rough final
black and white copy, but you can see what they wanted to
do with it. also suppost to contain 2 songs that were cut.
it's on my bbs system in the misc video area if you want it.
