I want to hear from you about good Real Time Strategy games.

I've played and enjoyed "Dune II", plus "StarCraft/BroodWar", and the 
chinese one "Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom" that was previously 
suggested by a DOVE-netter.

I'm not really interested in networked play, particularly if an external 
server is required.  I don't want anything so old that the graphics are 
shitty, nor so new that I have to buy a new computer to run it.

Anyone got any good RTS games they can recommend?  If so, please tell me 
the name of the game and a little about it.
