Actually, JPJ would also have been very hard to replace.  He was an 
extremely acomplished studio musician before Zep ever formed.  And, he 
played keyboards, as well as bass.  He really was integral to the overall 
sound of the band.

That band was a perfect combination of 4 guys.  I don't think it would 
have happened if any one of them would have been someone else.
