Or is > Mystic really not a Renegade/Telegard/WWIV hack? :-) well in cott's case, yes, since renegade isn't 100% original, correct? someone in the know can correct me if i'm wrong. for mystic, it was always maintained by james that he wrote it from scratch. i believe him because i know the type of person he is and i've looked at the history and whatsnew.txt files as mystic has grown and really, it looks as if he did start from scratch. if he didn't then the joke is on me. the only suspicion i have about the whole mystic-from-scratch thing is he seemed to appear almost 'over night' and have all of this talent. it's not impossible, but it seems fishy. i wasn't around in the scene back when he started with 1.0 or whatever for dos so i cannot vouch for the over night thing i just said being true but that is the way it seemed. i took a break for a year or something and when i returned mystic bbs was there. *shrug* odds are he would have been in the movie if jason scott could have hunted him down. g00r00 is a notorious gypsy, never staying in one place for long before moving or finding a different job or something. - grymmjack .
