At a guess (Ihaven't seen it yet myself) I'd say that at the time the interview was done, Synchronet was just starting to grow... iirc, it was around 3.10i release. At that time, EleBBS, Nexus, Mystic, WWIV, and many more were still around and kicking while Synchronet was still getting back on its feet. Of course, *since* then, EleBBS and Nexus have fallen by the wayside, Mystic may have (nobody is completely convinced one way or the other) and Synchronet has grown a largish number of new features and gobs of new users. Like so many other things in the BBS world today, the documentary is slightly obsolete when it's released. :-) --- þ Synchronet þ ``Penguins make tasty snacks'' .
