The album > was popular long before that though... Here is another track, performed by the same guest artist on the same album: Love, love is a verb. Love is a doing word. Feathers on my breath. Gentle impulsion, shakes me, makes me lighter. Feathers on my breath. Teardrop on the fire. Feathers on my breath. Night, night of matter. Black flowers blossom. Feathers on my breath. Black flowers blossom. Feathers on my breath. Teardrop on the fire, Feathers on my... Water is my eye. Most faithful my love. Feathers on my breath. Teardrop on the fire of a confession. Feathers on my breath. Most faithful my love. Feathers on my breath. Teardrop on the fire. Feathers on my breath. You're stumbling a little. You're stumbling a little. This track actually propelled the album up the charts where it became a cult hit among critics, clubs, and the college crowds, but it essentially brought about the desctruction of the band. The author of the song wanted the vocal to be done by *Madonna* of all people, instead of the eerie- voiced singer that eventually performed the track. He was overruled by the rest of the band, but remained angry at the decision. The roaring success of the track as a single only made him angrier, and he eventually left the band. Several reshuffles followed, but they never quite regained their former glory. --- þ Synchronet þ Entertaining discourse from The ANJO BBS .
