For the most part, but, no movie has ever done a book justice. The comedy portions were good... but even then, if you haven't read the book, alot of it will probably go over your head. After the movie, I was talking to some other viewers and they thought it sucked, and after further questioning, found they hadn't read the book. They couldn't keep up with the twists and turns. My family also didn't like it. They didn't understand it at all. :) I wouldn't give it such a high rating, maybe 3 1/2 out of 5 stars. Some of the CGI stuff was pretty good, but overall, there were just too many missing parts that explained some of the major portions better.
