Subj : Episode III To : All From : Angus Mcleod Date : Mon May 23 2005 10:36 pm Okay, just back from watching it. Tremendous, sweeping city-scapes and planet-scapes. Extensive, highly detailed shots of space fleets and ground-pounding armies. Alien architecture of uber-gothic scope. Tedious, artificial dialigue. Appalling acting from Anakin/Vader, even worse than Episode II, if you can believe it -- here's hoping he gets the Pinnochio award at the next Oscars, nobody else could be more wooden. Impossible-to-believe plot devices, that depend upon the stupidity of *everyone* for them to work. Enormous reliance on special effects can not redeem this movie. It is bad. Or shall I be kind and say it simply wasn't good? If you have watched the other five episodes, you will want to watch this, just so you can say you've seen them all. One silver lining: That jive-talkin', shuckin' and dancin', dredlock- wearin', rastafarian arsehole "Jah-Jah Binks" never showed up that I noticed. Yay! He being a "satanic masturbation toy" for America's youth tells me two things: i) It's time for the American empire to be wiped out, and ii) baptists are dumber than even *I* thought! http://www.landoverbaptist.org/news0899/jar.html --- þ Synchronet þ Entertaining discourse from The ANJO BBS .
