That's not really true.  My TV died in the midst of an electrical storm 
one day, and I never replaced it.  I bought myself a little stereo system 
instead.  I found that the hours a day I spent staring at the crappiest of
programming could now be spent doing something else.

I still love cinema and I'm still happy to sit and watch TV if I am around 
someone else's house, but I don't want a TV of my own.  Not at the present 
time, anyhow.
