Unfounded presumption.  It could happen in a matter of days.  I know!  I 
saw the movie!

Well, if there is any truth to the various theories, then whereas man may 
not be responsible for causing  ice-ages directly, they may well adversely 
affect the forces that come into play to cause them naturally.  IOW, man 
may precipitate an ice-age at a time when one might not have occurred 
natirally.

Another presumption!  How do you know that the last ice-age did not 
destroy all evidence of the tampering by man, which caused it?  Each 
ice-age may in fact have been caused by the abuse of the planet, in 
various ways, by the humans of the day.
