For that matter, it also puzzles me that America would pay an actor $1M for a
30-minute television episode, but grumble that a heart surgeon nets somewhere
around $350K/year.  I guess we have our priorities screwed up.  I'm not
grumbling, mind you, as I believe in a capitalist market... But maybe we just
lost our priorities somewhere along the way (or someone is artificially
inflating the costs of entertainment!)
