You do know that this admin has bought editorials before that support
some position or another for public consumption.

Not saying this is the case here.

But he ignores alot of information in his assesment.

Like NO has the lowest rate of car ownership (in the US)
or that property ownership is thehighest here (for African Americans)
Also that fleeing a disaster takes money (anyway you want to look at it)

These are some of the reasons I have read about why so many people staid
behind.

Also the highways were locked, hardly anyone was going anywhere for most
of the time.

But you can also ask your self why people choose to live in such areas.

California has terible earthquakes,
the gulf coast has it's hurricanes,
the midwest has tornados,
and the eastern seaboard has winters that kill hundreds.
St Louis has headlines of 100+ degree temp every summer that kills.

Why do people choose to live in such places?
