No, it was the whores, gambling and rhumba music that we missed.  How's
your supply on that island?

We should apply your geopolitical strategy of laissez-faire on the
human-level, too.  It's probably none of my business when defenseless
children are abducted and subjugated on the streets... But something
just wouldn't feel right about abandoning them.  Life would be so much
less messy if you didn't have to "care" about anyone else.

Imagine, for just a brief second, that Angus is not "The Omniscient",
and that others, in the highest political offices across our globe, have
given some level of consideration to our current geopolitical situation. 
Imagine that the "War Against Islamic Extremism" is not an overreaction,
but instead a deeply considered approach to an insidious plague that is
spreading across the globe.  What would you do?  Just wait and hope it
doesn't hit Paradise?

Don't forget, de sea en' got nuh back door!  I understand Bali was once
a swinging vacation hotspot, too!
