The majority of media in Canada is from the US.  Also, when they are presenting
facts (ie: "The CIA does not belive it likely that Iraq posesses WMDs") it
really doesn't matter what slant it happens to take.

I would however be interested in a source of "pure" news as you would accept
it.  You must have one since you imply that you are not "in the dark"
