Do I get half-credit for two brothers who volunteered to serve their
country honorably in Vietnam, yet returned home to receive revulsion and
rejection from their nation, ultimately becoming "wards" of the Veterans
Administration, then spinning into hopeless depression, heroin addiction
and death by overdose?
