I think whether prisoners are kept until they die or executed is irrelevant, what erps me is the prisoners having all the same comforts in prison that I have at home. Granted I bet prison isn't a walk in the park, but still get rid of cable TV and all the fancy crap. Their days need to be spent in a cell, in school for those who wish to further their education, or working labor jobs (road-side repair, prison maintenance, cafeteria, etc). For off times give them books, board games, etc. To pay for this I do think the prisoners should get some wage for what work they do, and that wage can be spent on the schooling, books, and other essentials -- no free rides even in prison. Just some thoughts. I think prisons could cut back on costs by not having so many 'fun' things for them. THey are in prison ya know.
