I'm sure your not saying that for the costs of prisons, we should maintain the death penalty... Perhaps we should have some penalties for prosecuters that mismanage their position. There are many instances where prosecuter misconduct has resulted in innocent people being arrested and convicted for something they didn't do. If an officer commits infractions, they are delt with. Why not the DA's? Are they? I don't know.
