I'm relieved to know that you don't sympathize with criminals and to
answer your question, that's up for the courts to decide on a case-
by-cased basis.

There are plenty of dna watchdog groups helping to free the wrongly
accused.  Based on the stats above, is it any wonder we are forced
to continue building more and more prisons ?
