Sure there is. It's our tax dollars. Politicians provide research grants to educational facilities, assuming of course they can dig up "facts" to support the desired conclusions. Of course these studies show global warming is a fact! And it's cow farts doing it! Keep that grant money flowing please sir, thank you very much! The pro global warming lobbying is all about scare tactics, and fighting "big business." How can we honestly say we are changing the climate of the planet, when we have only been keeping track of global temperatures for _maybe_ 100 years?!? Perhaps there's a cyclic thing going on here we're ignorant of? Supposedly, my great great grandfather once drove his old Ford Model T car across a frozen Lake Mineral Wells. This have never happened in MY lifetime. I believe this planet has a much stronger grasp of it's climate than we can ever hope to acheive.
