So...
I read through most of the feed before I posted an advertisement for my
board and I'm wondering what I should put to draw attention to my place when
there are SO many nice boards and advertisements to compete with.
I definitely do not wish to "STEAL" users from other boards and, being that I
was a SysOp back in the early-mid 90s I'm going to plug away and hope that I
can get some of you to join me.
I only have 1 registered door - Tradewars2002 (the Martech variety, not this
Gold version that offers more sectors and customizing) - because I was unable
to locate the other registrations I used to have.  Anyway, Tradewars is why I
have delved into SysOp'ing again.  So, if you want to play some old-skool
Tradewars, come on over.
What else can I offer...
Well, although much of the board is stock Synchronet, I have been working on
some ANSI's and everything on my board will eventually contain nothing but
original ANSI art - my own unless someone has something they wish to DONATE
that I simply cannot resist.
What else, you may ask?  Well, Dove-net is here, of course you all obviously
have access to that, so I'm no different than anyone else.  *blush*
My target users, ideally are those of you who are from the 90's BBS era whom
I've had some contact with before, as I would love to re-unite with users and
SysOps from the Omaha area, although EVERYONE is encouraged to come by and
help us build up to be compared to you "Big Guys" who've been around or have
your 90+ registered doors and whatnot.
I'm definitely open to suggestions for improvements, so, if anything, drop
by and give me some feedback/criticism/words of wisdom.
I'll put more nodes up if they are needed, but, for now we will just have 4.
I run a fast machine with a fast, stable connection.
I have external email disabled for now, as well as no files.
I have 2-5000 sector tradewars games enabled, the games that come with
Synchronet (Food Fight!, Synchro-Blackjack, The Beast's Domain, Dragon's
Hoard, DoorMUD, and then I've just set up Ambroshia.  I plan on adding more
as time permits but as my wallet does not, these and all future games I put
on here will only be registered if people are willing to help me do so (or if
I should get hooked on one of them myself so much that I can convince the
wife to let me spend a couple bucks!)  :)
