So... (Some time when I get a chance to set it up, I'll look into joining the acnet and the other you said later on... Right now I'm on 7 nights a week graveyards due to very short-handed, so I have very little life and no real time to do a bunch of configuring and stuff... I work and sleep most of the time, this is the first time I've been up for an hour or so beyond time to eat and get ready and working.... Even now, I'm dizzy as all get out and my stomache is nausiated from the medicine I had to take for my goute because of increase in hours....) They had a poll in the paper, 86% of the Americans and 81% of the Catholics as a whole said they wanted the new pope to make some changes when he took over. They all felt that they should allow priest to marry and women should be allowed to preach. They wanted to "Modernize the Church". I'll say up front, I'm not catholic, but first off no church needs to be "Modernized" in terms of their beliefs. The Bible Clearly says God is the same in the past, present and future, never changes, therefore, no reason to "Modernize" anything. As far as Priest marrying, I see good points and bad points on that on that one, True, perhaps if the priest would be allowed to have sex with a wife, they might leave the little children alone.... As to the Women priest.... I don't want to touch that one, because I really don't know enough about the catholic church in its present state to go there.... They claim there's a shortage of people wanting to preach. I'm told that women aren't supposed to be leaders and such, though when the men in the church refuse to take on their role as the leader, women must step up and preach until a guy will assume the responsibilities of doing what God called him to do..... I'm kinda curious how old the new Pope's going to be.... I seem to remember as a child Pope John Paull II taking over, don't quite remember the previous Pope dieing, exactly, but seem to remember something about them saying the new pope is Pope John Paul II.... I hope for the church's sake the new pop takes on the old pope's views of Gays in the church and all... I'm not really clear on all the duties of the Pope, beyond intpreting issues of the church in the whole, and making public appearances, Due to the nature of the fact that the Pope has the power to change every church's beliefs, its in the Catholic's best interest to choose a Pope wisely...
