The OSCAR BBS is now up and running and although curently suffering from a
lot of down-time, is accessible at various times. It's primary function is as
a file sharing BBS but also offers Doors, the usual Message boards and all
other things on would expect to find on a BBS. Membership is open to anyone
and everyone and all members have relatively unrestricted download
allowances, provided they are seen to be making an "effort" with regard to
uploading their own files. Any files can be shared, from music to source code
for virii.
To access oscar, visit:
OSCARBBS.ZAPTO.COM
via any telnet program to join. You can then login by telnet, ftp or http to
access the resources on offer. The FTP server is accessed through port 69.
All other resources are accessed through their respective default ports.
