So wouldn't that carry over from a system using the older version?  Mind you I 
suppose turning off that support where needed shouldn't break anything else.  I 
know firsthand that the '-nomd' switch works in specific node entries in 
binkd.cfg regardless of what is running at the other end (irex and radius).  
Looks like a configuration detail at that end but I don't know that for sure 
.... yet.
