Subj : Question #65535 To : Peter Knapper From : Paul Quinn Date : Sat Sep 25 2004 02:23 pm Hi! Peter, On Sat, 25 Sep 04, you wrote to me: PQ>>> Purpose: root-domain keyword defines the default domain name [ ...trim... ] PQ>> It works in conjunction with the 'node' verbiage. Use PQ>> an asterisk in lieu of the host name or IP address and PQ>> BinkD will attempt constructing FQDNs using the Fido PQ>> address along with the configured root-domain. PQ>> I haven't tried it but that's what the dox say. PK> Yes, its works great.......;-) Way cool! :) BTW, based on your experience, have you discovered what sort of 'scope' is attributed to the root-domain setting? Can it be used multiple times in a config file and only affect node entries which follow, mmm... in a 'paragraph' containing entries for nodes whose addressing is based on a different domain? A bit of an 'ask', hey. ;-) Cheers, Paul. --- Radius 4.010,26/08/04,TAPIBeta * Origin: Oh! I get it! HAhahahaha...haha... (IP 1200-1500 UTC) (3:640/384) .
