Subj : Arthritis - Dog of 12 years To : All From : John Pollock Date : Mon Sep 27 2004 09:52 am Hi, A few days back, my puppy of 12 years ( Siberian Huskie) named "Jeep", was playing in the living room. Gave out a sudden "YIP" sound. Later that night noticed he didnt jump on the bed at bedtime - ( which is quite normal) he loves being on the bed. Next day, bless his heart- he wouldnt hardly ever get up and be himself. So off to the VETS we went. Doc said he might have a bad case of arthritis setting in. Gave us some pain medicine. And sent us home. He still aftger a few days has not been himself.. and am concerned alot about him. Any ideas or have anyone else been through this and liked to share.. Would be greatly appreciated.. BTW, my first post on Fidonet..
