This conference is carried on the FidoNet backbone and is Moderated by Gerry Calhoun at 1:2404/200 and Ruth Argust at 1:2404/201. These rules will be subject to change if a change seems needed or is requested. Enforcement of the rules will be handled in the echo and/or via net-mail. Violations of the rules may be grounds for the offending node to have its link to this conference cut. Rule #1: Please try to keep your language suitable to all ages. Rule #2: The topic here is ANIMAL MEDICINE. This means discussions about animal health and behavior which relates or may relate to medical causes. This is not a forum for debating your personal views about animal rights issues, "routine" animal training (such as housebreaking a puppy), animal stories or complaining about veterinary services or prices. An example of an allowed topic is a dog or cat who begins to become unhousebroken after years of clean behavior (there may be underlying medical or psychological factors). Rule #3: No unsolicited commerical sales announcements please. Rule #4: Keep the message-quoting to a minimum please but sufficient enough so that one is able to relate to the message thread. Rule #5: No person attacks or FLAMES allowed! Rule #6: Please use real names only. If your BBS system does allow handles, please sign your real name at the bottom of the message. This echo cannot take the place of your own vet and should problems arise, you should be sure consult him/her as soon as possible. If any other points come up in the future, they will be addressed and added to this list if necessary. Let's keep this echo a learning forum for the benefit of all of us! --- * Origin: Reserved for future use. (1:2404/201) .
