        I guess they were figuring on an 'Invasion Of The Human Snatchers'
scenario, the old argument about 'They're taking our jobs, our families, our
whole way of life!'....adding that to the fact that Mars was still fresh
ground in the way of colonization and there were still as many hazards for
the average joe (because of the still-inimicable natural atmosphere on Mars;
as we saw in the ending combat sequence) as there were for someone like a 
cop on Mars (like Ross) or even more for a Third or another artificial
lifeform, and you've got a perfect Space Western situation; the first steps
of a cultural melting-pot on Mars.
        No wonder extremistic terrorists like (the original) D'Anclaude
existed there. (I still don't figure why there were all of those android
D'Anclaudes walking around. What was the point of that?) Fear is a strong
thing in any sense, science-fiction, fantasy, or Anime (even somebody like
Freeza from Dragonball felt fear sometimes), or just real-life. 
        You might believe how much I miss Cowboy Bebop... ;)

        Heck, she could have the ability to fertilize her own ova. But I'm
figuring from how close she got to Sylibus that she had, er, assistance with
that. :)
