I Googled and found a great many references to GM> MacIntosh and a few desktop shells for Win... I'd guess you could call it a "Poor Man's" Deskview or Quartedeck. I can swap between about 8 different loaded DOS programs. They don't run in the background, but when I go back to a particular program, I'm right back to where I left it. I think they had another version that allowed those backbround programs to continue to run... I've tried quite a few different ways to Google it, but never found the program or the company that marketed it. :( Anyhow, the best thing about it is it's cut and paste feature. I find it a lot easier than what can be done in WIN. It works with any DOS screen.
