It appears that I may have been somewhat hasty with my response to your
post AND I "presumed" you were posting a **DES2DIZ.BTM**...

It wasn't until I went on Babelfish to do the German to English
translations, that I realized I was working on something that I already
have -- DIZ2DES.BTM.

I am seeking a #_*DES2DIZ.BTM*_#, that will read a description for a
filename (archive) from a 4DOS DESCRIPT.ION file, write it to a FILE_ID.DIZ
file, format the line wrap to column 45, and import the new FILE_ID.DIZ
into the archive - overwritting any existing FILE_ID.DIZ.

I apologize if the body of my original message was unclear / uncertain, but
I had thought the message Subject would be sufficient.

On a brighter note, after performing the translation, I did realize some
very interesting techniques within "your" BTM that I will include into my
DIZ2DESC.BTM...  I will post my resulting btm when I've completed squashing
a few pesky problems.
