Subj : Running 4DOS.COM from RAMdrive... To : All From : Gerald Miller Date : Tue Sep 23 2003 11:33 am Hello All, I will soon be installing a larger hard disk on this aging DOS box. I am desiring to create a bootable disk and copy some files to a 2MB (or larger) RAMdrive and set the comspec to 4DOS.COM on the RAMdrive while I set up the different directories on the various drives... I think I have to copy 4DOS.COM, 4DOS.INI, 4START.BTM and 4EXIT.BTM to the RAMdrive (at a minimum). I would appreciate some user input about the required Initialization Directives for a "minimal" 4DOS.INI and any information for the 4START.BTM and 4EXIT.BTM files. Thanks ... Gerald ....
