I want to copy an entire partition to another partition, overwriting anything
that happens to be in the target partition.

I created the copy on H: from E: (source drive) with a simple copy function. On
subsequent copies I want to basically overwrite H: with the current contents of
E:, preserving empty directories on E: in the process.

Is there any particular advantage to using COPY or XCOPY?
