I am thankful that you were in communication with Tom, got the password, and continue to keep the Echo area listed. I am probably one of the few remaining people who refuse to get an ISP; for the simple fact that very few ISPs will install / support their services on a computer that is NOT Window based. Since I do not have access to the Internet, I saw little point in contacting Tom..... Are you planning to post the "Rules" or do you intend to let the Echo area be "self regulated"? The reason for my queries is that I'm seeking an echo area in which to discuss Jonathan de Boyne Pollard's "32-bit Command Interpreter" and "OS/2 Command Line Utilities", both of which are for OS/2. You may remember Jonathan as a very prolific 4DOS 'SuperUser' who posted in the 4DOS Echo area and it would appear that he has applied his 4DOS expertise to program some tools for OS/2 users. Since I am in the process of migrating to OS/2, I would enjoy discussing his products in this echo since they are akin to the JPSoft products and it would appear that JPSoft has abandoned any product support in this echo.... If the above is true, then there _may_ be some method of synchronizing your system time with that of your Time Server /_if_/ you are able to maintain a log file or a session capture file. With the method that I'm attempting to clarify with Jasen (uses my Mailer program log file and the information exchanged via the EMSI handshake), you may get some insight(s) on a process that is better suited for your purpose.
