Hmmm, I get here the following d:\4dos ? dir y: 4DOS: (Sys) Drive not ready--close door "Y:" Note the (Sys), meaning 4DOS only displays a system generated error. Perhaps something else changed? CDROM driver software? Some cd clone programs seem to take control of the cdrom away from windows.
