A 4NT alias that I use often when editing batch and configuration files is

alias cdclip = *truename . >clip:

this places the (true-)name of the current directory in the clipboard, ready to
paste it into any file using <ctrl-v>... but unfortunately the string in the
clipboard is terminated by a CrLf (Newline).

Is there any way I can stop the ">" assigner/redirection from adding the
LineFeed to the output?
