Is it possible for you to understand that your *opinion* is just that: an
*opinion*?  The exact nature of "MS-DOS" has been confused by conflicting
terminology and packaging to the point that I doubt *any* statement about just 
what it is exactly is capable of justifiable argument.  Your point of view is 
one among many - and not the only one that is justifiable by "experiment" 
(which you seem to want to rely upon).  Not to mention that your view of what 
is appropriate to a newsgroup is (virtually by definition) only an opinion as 
well - the appropriate topics for any newsgroup are what the participants in 
that ng deem appropriate (unless the ng is moderated, in which case, replace 
"participants" by "moderators").

If this thread is a representative sample of the contents of a.m.b., frankly, I 
don't understand why Klaus wants to post there anyway ...
