Running Windows XP and a dosbox When a directory name is above 9 characters and 4dos is the command processor in a dosbox under XP than a 'dir' command and also other file commands like 'ren' does not work. File not found error occurs. When loading a dosshell like the good older Norton Commander or when Command.com is loaded than the prompt changes from full to an 8char name (c:\docume~1) and everythings works normal.
