Subj : option bugs To : All From : Jasen Betts Date : Sat Nov 24 2001 12:04 pm Hi All. I discovered you can use keyboard aliases in the input command so I thought I'd put some into the chess prog to define stuff like pageup for undo BUT pageup is defined as histwinopen and option doesn't work very well... option //normalkey=pgup that works, but how do you undo it... option //histwinopen=pgup that doesn't work (even on the command line). (4dos ver 7.00A) pageup no longer activates the history popup... how come? it gets worse: :: foobar.bat option //normalkey=X setlocal unalias * endlocal run that and all your aliases dissapear, and 4dos goes flakey... It seems like I'll have to start a second instane of 4dos.com instead of relying on setlocal and option to redefine the keys and protect the aliases. -=> Bye <=- --- * Origin: Keep grandma off the streets -- legalize bingo.
