Because Taipei is under jurisdiction of 中華民國憲法。 Years ago, a group of mainland Chinese people went to Taiwan and made up "中 華民國憲法", and attempted to seperate it from it's motherland "CHINA". The question is at that time, Taiwan was already independent or part of China. If former, any evidence? If latter, why not Taipei people can one day made up their new constitution and request seperate from Taiwan. > > > >can one day the people live in your building forming a government vote for > >the future of your owning building? > > > >Years ago, a group of Chinese went to Taiwan(part of China) and formed a > >local government and request to > >vote for the future of Taiwan. I think it quite depends on the validity of 中華民國憲法. If today Taipei people made up a new constitution of Taipei, you must say that it is NOT valid because of 中華民國憲法. But the day "those Chinese people who went to Taiwan years ago" made up 中華 民國憲法, was it valid? .
