there are ATMs from 3 different banks at the airport including bank of
china.
They all take visa, mastercard, cirrus etc...
take out money at the airport, don't wait until you get into town.
If your using travellers cheques i would definately change one at the
airport if you're arriving at the weekend. Because once you get into the
centre of beijing you may not be able to change money at a bank till monday
morning.
