Hmm.  I didn't know they went too.    Given the level of corruption in
Taiwan and amount of money involved, nothing is impossible.     Most
Taiwanese politicians are extraordinarily  wealthy     by world
standard.

I have nothing against those two.   Just think Kang is hiding the
truth.   He denied he was chairman of that comitte passing the
Lafayette purchase is (He was the stand in chairman) He made 180
degree turn .    should raise question in anyone's mind.

Apparently a scape goat.    Thankyou for refreshing my memory..   I
now remember it was a very very timely policy change allowing the
permits issue.      


Of course I don't have the evidence.    If it were that easy to get
evidence there's be no corruption at all..      I don't have access to
old China Times article.     But anyone in Taiwan can check it out.
Could be very profitable if you write a book on it.     The truth is
printed, buried in those old newspapers.     

The corruption may very well involve all factions in Taiwan, DPP
included.       Why were they silent when the balooned  budget passed
Legislature ?    It was virtual public knowledge the final price
doubled from initial reported by Ho when he ordered delaying Korean
purchase  , look at French instead.      They were raising hell
everything else the KMT did.    

The same China Times article also mentioned the Singaporean(not sure,
could be someone else) Navy purchased the warships fully armed at half
the price Taiwan paid.          I was reading it then , thought it was
rather strange .  someone is stealing.        When Kang passed the
bill I was very disapointed,   I thought till that time Kang and DPP
were honest, not corrupt like KMT.     How wrong can I be,  the DPP is
full of millionairs too.    

Could anyone tell me how Lee Tenghui, a lifetime civil servant,
accumulated so much sealth.     I know it wasn't inheritance,   can't
be his salery.      Where did he get it?   Why are Taiwanese
politicians all so rich?  (all factions)
