    原本是要找 characteristic diameter 是什麼意思
    (http://www.astr.ua.edu/keel/galaxies/catalogs.html)

    後來才找到 isophotal diameter、D25
    ( p61, Galactic Astronomy by James Binney, Michael Merrifield )

    但是我在這裡發現了一個問題

    為什麼是用 B-band 去判定galaxy的直徑呢?

    麻煩各位前輩提示一下...
