in fact , pilot do have the pistol for flight , but you know , in taiwan 
the national defence stratege was changed --from going back to mainland
china to protect ourseif taiwan.....
so in theory , our pilots can't flight over to mainland china to achieve the 
duty........
as though , we don't have the consideration to land in enermy area...
and we don't have to carry the pistol in usual....
but ,pilots still served the pistol in case of emergencies.......

i don't agree this .....reason is same as the other letter.....
