Delta will begin immediately to contact Delta customers booked on KAL- operated flights to assist them in making alternative travel arrangements. The decision to suspend the codeshare was made in light of operational incidents, including the recent tragic loss of an MD-11 cargo aircraft in China, Delta said. Delta said its review will include all facts and circumstances regarding KAL’s operations. KAL has made a major commitment to improving its operations to world- class standards, and has made substantial progress in that work. As KAL has previously announced, KAL asked Delta along with other firms to provide consulting services regarding its operations. Delta’s consulting relationship with KAL is ongoing. Delta has had a codeshare relationship with KAL since 1995. The suspended services include KAL-operated flights from several U.S. cities to Seoul, Korea, and from there to three interior Korean cities. ------------ -- Aircraft Mechanic, CKS Airport, Taipei, Taiwan, ROC -- * Origin: ¤¤¤s¤j¾Ç-¬üÄR¤§®qBBS * From: 140.109.249.25 [¤w³q¹L»{ÃÒ] .
