i think in taiwan and most of other places(not in high altitude places)
the most important problem when a airplane take-off and landing is the wind,
not the air pressure....
the air pressure only decide how long the airplane take-off and landing  
distance .....
but the how stronger and what direction the wind is decide the comfortable
the air crew who seat in it....if we got a well training pilot...
how come ? 
if we have gust wind in final , the airplane will shaking in all final and 
that make air crew uncomfortable....
and if we got the strong side-wind , the airplane will over shoot to the out 
side of the runway when take-off and one side main wing will touch the run way
or two main tire will have big angle to touch the runway ...
and it's the problem the pilot will meet in final ....and i think they will
solve it in most of conditions.....
