上個星期係上到美西去參觀一些公司  其中包含Boeing一些小的飛機製造廠
以下市有關Boeing's Chronology

1916 The B&W -the first Boeing airplane-takes flight in Seattle.

1918  Two biplanes are sold to New Zealand in first international sale.

1919  Model C biplane carries the first U.S. international airmail.

1927  Model 40 carries mail and -load permitting_two passengers.

1928  The luxurious Model 80 trimotor biplnae launches Boeing into the passenger
      airliner business.

1933  First flight of the Model 247, the world's first modern airliner.

1935  Model 299, prototype of the B-17 Flying Fortress, takes flight.

1947  The B-47 Stratojet, the first U.S. swept-wing bomber, flies.

1952  First flight of the B-52 Stratofortress, still the minastay of the U.S.
      Air Force long0range strategic fleet.

1954  First flight of the "Dash 80" (707 Prototype),which defines the features 
      of the modern jetliner.

1960  Acquisition of Vertol Aircraft, todya Boeing Philadelphia.

1964  The 727  trijet enters service, bringing jet speeds to shorter routes and 
      and smaller airports.

1969  A Saturn V moon booster launches astronauts Neil Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz"
      Aldern, and Michael Collins to the moon.

1970  Service entry of the 747, the largest and most popular jetliner.

1971  The first of three Lunar Roving Vehicles leaves its track on the moon.

1982  The 767 introduces the two-place, all-digital "glass" cockpit.

1983  The 757 enters service; it shares the 767 flight deck so crews trained to 
      fly one of these jets can also fly the others.

1987  Design of International Space Station living quarters begins.

1989  Service entry of the 747-400, a ne-generation of 747 with greater range 
      and lower operating costs.

1990  Two 747s replace long-used 707 in Air Froce One Duty.

1991  Boeing and Sikorsky win a contract to develop the RAH-66  Comanche,
      the Army's 21-st century scout-utility helicopter.

1993  The 767-300 Freighter is launched, adding a fifth model to the versatile 
      757/767 family.  

1994  Launch of the Next-Generation 737, ensuring the best-selling 737 series
      of continued market leadership.

1995  Entry into service of the new 777 family, the world's largest twinjet and
      second largest airliner in service after the 747.

1996  Acquisition of Rockwell aerospace and defence units.

1997  Merger with McDonnell Douglas.

1998  The Next-Generation 737 enters service.
